Fine typical Greggs food but was astounded by manager who moved us out of way to spray disinfectant on the inside of the window next to all the food the spray literally went all over the food me and my partner watched in horror!! Why would you be spraying cleaning spray so close to food! Luckily we had already got our food! Just was an odd thing to do and surely against standards!!

Disappointing Experience at Greggs: Lack of Toilets and Breach of RegulationsI recently visited Greggs for a quick bite to eat and to enjoy a moment of relaxation in their seating area. However, my experience took an unexpected turn when, after making a purchase and settling in, I discovered the lack of basic facilities that left me disappointed and concerned.Upon requesting to use the toilet, I was informed by the cashier staff that Greggs did not have a toilet available for customers. I was taken aback by this revelation, considering that I was under the impression that most establishments, especially those serving food and beverages, would provide such facilities for their patrons. The cashier explained that they were not legally obliged to offer toilets when the seating capacity was or fewer chairs.Curious about this policy, I decided to count the number of chairs in the establishment. To my surprise, there were a total of chairs inside and an additional chairs outside. This meant that Greggs was in clear violation of the regulations regarding the provision of toilets for customers. Despite the sunny weather outside, the lack of adequate facilities left a sour taste in my mouth and overshadowed what could have been a pleasant visit. While I understand that businesses must adhere to regulations and guidelines, I believe that customer comfort and basic needs should also be taken into consideration. A simple amenity like a toilet should not be overlooked, especially in a food service establishment where customers may need to use such facilities. In conclusion, my experience at Greggs was marred by the absence of a toilet and the apparent breach of regulations regarding seating capacity and toilet provision. I hope that Greggs will address these issues promptly to ensure that all customers are provided with a comfortable and accommodating experience when visiting their establishments.
